Rick Owens SS 2012 Naska scarf.

I was able to finally get my hands on this sheer oversized scarf. Rick Owens came up with quite a few. Some made of solid cashmere or linen blends or plain cotton. I needed something not too heavy, more of a gauzy lightweight structure easy to drape and fold for a more complex, dimensional look. This one made of silk and cashmere with subtle fraying at the ends felt just right.

great investment! i've got a couple of silk-cashmere scarfs and it's exactly as you say: they give this dimensional look, not like an accessory more like a piece of cloth on its own.

Your scarf looks so soft and elegant - it puts those dull pashmina wraps to shame.
