The boots are so comfortable, probably the most comfortable shoes ever. The leather is so soft and breathable, I was able to wear them all summer and now late into the fall. The belt I bought years ago, and it's the only one I own. I don't like belts as an accessory in general, I find them too stiff and formal. To wear a belt it has to have a strong functional purpose, otherwise it can ruin any ensemble by fastening up the symbolic last button and bringing an "I'm trying too hard" look. So I bought this belt a long time ago, it had to be invisible, or at least not invasive, while fulfilling its task. I wear it to keep the jacket closed. I may not necessarily like its shiny buckle, but I do like how it repeats my Balenciaga's strings.

While I was taking these pictures random pedestrians formed in a small group snapping photos with their cellphones. For the last couple of months this has pretty much been my to go uniform, and the entire ensemble never got so much attention before.
