Rick Owens Limo AW 2011 scarf and coat, LD Tuttle AW 2009 thigh-high boots.
Last winter I stopped wearing scarves, finding them too awkward or too bulky, and I didn't want to get involved with uncomfortable turtlenecks either. So this hijab-inspired wool collar happened to be a brilliant alternative. I can wear this single piece over any of my crewneck tops as a scarf or high over the ears.

I never thought of that, I will try it and see if it fits my style. I love bulky scarfs but my hair always ends up super tangled. Thanks for the tip

I like the boots and how the red lipstick breaks the darkness, very cool x
You almost sold me here on a wool collar! Then I remembered where I live. (I have no real need for one.)
I like how this ensemble is avant-garde, otherworldly and beautiful.
the collar looks awesome!
your photographs are great and I love your lip colour :)

Winter clothes are difficult, at least for me. But I like scarves, they are more practical than clutches ;)
Did you shave the lateral of your hair? It looks amazing!
Marcela Machado Vanegue, nope! But thanks :)
I second ODDYSSEY - totally otherwordly+beautiful!
Love how this Owens piece juxtaposes soft and edgy
Fantastic coat! This is the best winter look I've seen for a long time.
the shoulder and neck structure of the coat is so interesting!
