Rick Owens Lilies top, skirt and leggings, Rick Owens Naska SS 2012 clutch and Anthem SS 2011 shoes.

I'm finally back, for good. The entire summer was hectic enough but September was the busiest. I was away for the Toronto International Film Festival, and then immediately after, hired to film a documentary on nomen omen, pending film production. Working long hours on the set I wore my down puffer I bought back in 2006 for the Sundance Film Festival in Utah, and a leather baseball cap. Not really nurturing conditions for an inspiring blog post, especially after coming home at 10pm to eat cold take outs. Summa summarum casual glamor was not on my mind. But I am back from the fashion Siberia, dressed in two Lilies acquisitions I got over the summer. In high humidity my angora blend pieces weren't holding up well, soaking in too much of the moisture and sagging sadly on my bod which made me explore the cotton line. So here it is a new asymmetric top and skirt. The lipstick is vibrant orange in Morange by MAC.

LOVE that top and skirt (I don't own any skirts, and am thinking it's about time I change that, since I have been falling in love lately with RO's drapey ones like what you're wearing).

Sounds like you have been busy then, well done on scoring the film doc. Long hours pay off but sometime it just feels like forever since you had a nice rest. Great images as always

Stunning photos! Simply love all the backdrops you've been photographing your outfits against this year. The colours, the textures are so wonderful.

I like the full length pic of you with the autumn leaves in the background, it's stunning. Did you see the Rick Owens s/s 2014 catwalk show? Fantastic!

That's Not My Age, I did. I think the cast and performance was as authentic as it could be. That kind of raw authenticity is a very rare quality those days.
