Rick Owens Drkshdw top and skirt, Rick Owens AW 2012 Mountain bag, Rick Owens SS 2014 Vicious shoes, NYX Pistachio lipstick.

You may or may not have noticed, but I don't use sponsored products on my blog in order to keep this corner of my world as authentic as it can be. So when the talented Alice approached me to be part of a Refinery29 article, I couldn't be happier to share my two cents. Well, now the story is live and you can read it here.

Looking stunning as usual. Glad to see you're posting again. Regarding the article - yes, sad and true. :/It's really annoying to see the same content everywhere on certain days.

I enjoy how you treat color in your posts. It's rich, powerful and surprisingly soothing.
I did the affiliate sponsored posts thing, while turning down opportunities that felt wrong for my direction. Eventually I grew tired of weeding through all the crap to maintain authenticity. It was burdensome. Finally I became too busy with other projects to blog with regularity. I took it all as a sign. After six years of blogging, I simply stopped. (I realize I've digressed a bit off topic.) Now, I'm happy to keep up with my few (very few) favorite blogs. Yours is one. :) I'm glad you're still here, keeping it real.

I rarely comment on blogs these days, but I really love this, plus I can relate to authenticity over clicks/popularity/free shit ...

Thank you for being here. And yes, there are some blogs which priority isn't monetizing.
